DIGITAL IMMIGRANTS VS. DIGITAL IMMIGRANTS
The term Digital Immigrant refers to people born before the 1980’s
 and who have adapted to New Medias in their environment.(Prensky, 2001).

The term Digital Native refers to people who were born during and after the 1980’s and who have grown up with *New Medias. Examples include children who read more on the Internet than in books and who publish in numeric environments as opposed to handwriting.
